Heat Shrink Sleeves find many uses |
Heat Shrink is a title given to a tubing which upon contact with heat, reduces its diameter and shrinks in size. Heatshrink finds its main use in electrical engineering to insulate wire connections, joints and terminals etc. In addition to this, it also finds use in repairing wires, bundling wires together and to offer protection against abrasions. Heat Shrink Sleeves are available in many different thicknesses and colours to allow easy identification and colour coding. The recent past has seen the use of heat shrink sleeves increase in the PC industry where colour co-ordination and keeping the cables tidy in a small area has revolutionized the industry in a way where major companies are also starting to advertise their logos in luminous and UV reactive varieties
