Five former Maoists to rejoin government in Nepal (The Times of India)

KATHMANDU: Five former Maoist rebels were set to be sworn in Monday as government ministers in Nepal, ending a political crisis that began when the ex-guerrillas walked out of a coalition government three months ago.

Nepal Maoists rejoin cabinet after monarchy deal (Deepika)

KATHMANDU, Dec 30 (Reuters) Nepal’s former Maoist rebels rejoined the interim government today, two days after parliament voted to abolish the monarchy, ending three months of deadlock that had threatened to derail the peace process.
